A. Calcined Clays

a. Himacot 

Himacot is high whiteness and ultra-fine particle size calcined clay. The calcination temperature and the residence time in the calciner are carefully controlled to produce a product that will impart the best opacity and whiteness to paint systems. Multistage classification is done to achieve the required fineness. The product is designed to achieve partial replacement of Titanium dioxide pigment to the maximum extent. These products are specially targeted for applications requiring high smoothness. (Himafine is under development). 

b. Himafil 

Himafil is a high-temperature Calcined clay which exhibits very good optical properties like whiteness and opacity. It can partially replace Titanium dioxide in medium and high PVC water based paints thereby achieving cost saving wit out any deterioration in properties. It also improves the weathering, abrasion resistance and inter-coat adhesion of paints.

a. Hibrite Powder 

Hibrite Powder is a high whiteness and ultrafine china clay that is used to achieve maximum efficiency of the prime pigment in semi gloss water based paints. Hibrite Powder is produced by processing the best quality raw matrices under stringent quality control. This is most useful in paints formulated below the Critical PVC, where there is no opacity development by pigments and extenders by dry hiding, and hence it is essential to achieve the maximum spacing of Titanium dioxide. 

b. BCK Powder 

BCK is a premium grade hydrous clays used as effective extenders in paints requiring higloss and opacity. The fine particle size of BCK ensures optimum spacing of TiO2. 

c. KCG Powder 

As an extender in the manufacture of semigloss, full gloss oil based paints and water based distempers were opacity development, economy and dispersion properties are of prime importance.

Fiberlin : 

Fiberlin is a hydrous china clay specially designed for use as raw material source of Alumina for the fiberglass industry. Consistency in chemical composition is ensured by selection of raw matrix for processing. The low levels of Titanium, Phosphate and Iron in Fiberlin make it an ideal product for the fiberglass. The spray drying process by which it is produced ensures consistency in physical properties like moisture and bulk density.
