Accidents can happen anywhere. They can be when you least expect it or when it’s staring you straight in the face. My pet and I were having a walk one night and we crossed a rather unfortunate path. In the bushes nearby, a small black and white animal crept out. It startled me and my dog, which in turn, scared the skunk.
It unleashed its rancid spray onto me and my dog before running away. This was completely frightening, of course, so we rushed home as quickly as we could. The smell was terrible and I thought I’d have to throw my clothes away. I was able to get rid of the skunk liquids from them, but the skunk odors are left behind by stains.
Both my dog and I had to bathe in tomato sauce, since that seemed to be the best line of action, but I didn’t want to ruin my clothes further. Luckily, I found some information online about some ways to remove odors from things. An ozone generator will remove all odors away from not only your clothes, but your entire house if you want to.
Hanging my clothes up near the ozone generator and turning it on for about 45 minutes did the trick. Of course, I also knew that you couldn’t be around ozone because it’s dangerous to humans and pets.
